Obasanjo, Adeleke, others Extol Late Gov. Agagu
The Former President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo GCFR, Osun State Governor, His Excellency, Senator Ademola Adeleke and other prominent Nigerian leaders extolled Late Olusegun Kokumo Agagu at OAF Foundation 10th year anniversary today in Lagos amidst numerous well wishers.
The Olusegun Agagu’s Foundation (OAF) was established in 2014 to immortalize the name and legacy of late Dr. Olusegun Agagu(CON), the former Governor of Ondo State.
The anniversary was held in the memory and to honour the late Founder of OAF Foundation, Dr Olusegun Kokumo Agagu (CON). The Foundation which was established by the former Governor of Ondo State, HE Late (Chief) Olusegun Kokumo Agagu, CON has impacted numerous lives and gave back to the society through Scholarships, empowerment, skill acquisition etc
Quality Education was one of Dr. Olusegun Agagu’s passions, evidenced by the establishment of several scholarship programs in various Universities in the country over the years. The foundation pledged to continue supporting young Nigerians with scholarship as well as establish new emplwerment scheme to help Nigerians and especially the young ones.
The Foundation seek to further the ideas and passion of Dr Agagu particularly in the areas of intellectual excellence, good governance and National development.
One minute silence was observed for the late founder, his journey so far, followed by several glowing highlights such as OAF Highlife Talent Show, Award and Book launching (A Decade of Legacy).
In his remark, the Executive Governor of Osun State, HE Senator Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke portrayed the founder of Olusegun Agagu Foundation (OAF) as a man who will forever be immortalized for his unforgettable impacts during his lifetime.
Former President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo GCFR who also graced the occasion in honour of His Excellency late Dr. Olusegun Agagu (CON) described late Dr. Olusegun Agagu as a Comrade who impacted greatly and add useful qualities to humankind during his life time, the former President also appreciated the prominent dignitaries who attended the event for immortalizing the founder of AOF.
An award of excellence was given to Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, Dr Deji Adeleke and other outstanding trustee who has contributed to the achievement of the OAF Foundation.
In attendance at the event was Chief Olusegun Obasanjo GCFR, the Executive Governor of Osun State, HE Senator Ademola Adeleke, Dr Deji Adeleke, Mrs Feyi Agagu, the popular JuJu Singer, Chief Sanni Ade, Muyiwa Ademola (Mr Authentic) and other prominent personalities.
