Stewardship programme tomorrow ,Key sectors like Governance, politics, Energy, Pension, others in focus.

All is now set tomorrow morning for another edition of the monthly popular statewide live radio interactive programme between Gov.Ademola Adeleke led administration and the people of the state between 8 and 10 am .

The radio programme is specially designed by the present administration to serve as an official avenue, on a bimonthly basis, for government to reel out its activities, programmes and policies as well as its achievements and challenges to the Osun populace .

Tomorrow’s edition, will among other issues, centre on critical sectors like Governance, Politics, Pension administration, Energy as well as Culture where stakeholders in each of the sectors will be on live on all the 22 radio stations across the state, partnering with the state government on the programme.

A press statement to that effect issued by the State Commissioner for Information and Public Enlightenment whose ministry organises the monthly radio talkshow programme, said the August edition will feature a thorough discourse on the windows of opportunities that will come the way of electricity consumers in Osun state in line with the recent passage
into law of Osun Electricity Consumer Bill by Rt.Hon.Wale Egbedun led Osun Parliament .

Alimi further states in the statement made available to the press ,that the monthly radio programme christened Stewardship/Ise Iriju wa, will also tomorrow beam its focus on the Osun Pension Sector in the state in line with the prioritisation of Ademola Adeleke led administration’s welfare for the teeming senior citizens who retired from both local and state civil services.

The Commissioner’s press statement reads

“It gladdens my heart on behalf of His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Osun State, Senator Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke, the Government and good people of Osun state, to officially announce that,
the August 2025 edition of *Stewardship/ Ise iriju wa, an accountability cum feedback programme on radio being organized by the Ministry of Information and Public Enlightenment under my official purview as the Chief Host will hold tomorrow morning, Saturday, 2nd August, 2026, between 8 and 10 am on all the 22 affiliated radio stations partnering with the State Government to air the programme to the public .

“On the August edition, the passage into law of OSUN ELECTRICITY BILL by Osun- lawmakers as a tool to boost and deepen the economy of the state elicits our special focus as Hon.Festus Ademola Adeyemo led Osun State Ministry of Energy serves as our guest in order to shed more lights on the many advantages for investors and non investors with the passage of the bill into law few days ago by Hon. Adewale Egbedun led 26 member Osun 8th Assembly.

“In the same vein, the Pension sector in line with Sen. Ademola Adelekes’ prioritisation of the welfare of senior citizens of Osun state will also take the centre stage during the two hour simulcast radio show.
The duo of the Permanent Secretaries of Local Govt Staff Pension Bureau, Mr Akibu Ibrahim and his counterparts from the Bureau of Public Service Pension, Mr Bayo Raji are the guests on this sector.

” Also on the programme tomorrow, the cultural renaissance of Osun state which, over the years, has earned it local, national and international fame will be beamed to the Osun populace by the Ademola Adeleke led administration as his Special Adviser on Culture, Prince Lukman Ayodeji ( Sango of Africa )is specifically invited to highlight the many beauties of Adire Osun “, according to Alimi.

The bi- lingual radio programme usually broadcast in both English and Yoruba languages is also available for listeners all over the world on Radio Gardens in addition to all the social media platforms with dedicated telephone lines to be opened for calls and contributions from the public during the two hour duration of the programme.
