Governor Adeleke Orders Full Investigation into Akinlalu Incident, Despatches Government Delegation.

In commemoration of Nigeria’s 65th Independence Anniversary, the Governor of Osun State, Senator (Dr.) Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke, has granted amnesty to 36 convicts currently serving sentences at the Nigerian Correctional Service facilities in Ilesa and Ile-Ife.

Governor Ademola Adeleke has congratulated Nigerians on the 65th Independence anniversary of the country even as he harped on observance of the rule of law and national reform for true federalism.

The Executive Governor of Osun State, Senator Ademola Adeleke, has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of two eminent Islamic scholars, the Grand Khalifa of Tijaniyah in Osun State, Sheikh Abdul Kareem Raji, and the Grand Khalifa of Tijaniyah in Kwara State, Shaykh Abubakar Siddeeq Agbade Abayawo.

Governor Ademola Adeleke has approved a series of programmes and projects in line with the administration’s tourism and creative industry expansion agenda. The target is to expand tourist inflow to the various cultural sites in the state by over 60 percent in the next one year.
