Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke, has commiserated with the Government and people of Kwara State over the gruesome killings of innocent citizens in Woro and Nuku communities of Kaiama Local Government Area.
Governor Adeleke, in a condolence message, sympathised with the Government and people of Kwara State, particularly Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, and families of the victims affected by the unfortunate incident.
Sequel to the complaint received from the Local Government Chairmen, in Osun state, by the Osun State Attorney General that unauthorized accounts have been opened for the Osun state LGs allocation, so as to allow the authorized persons to operate and maintain the accounts, in the United Bank for Africa (UBA). Consequently, the Osun state AG filed charge no: MOS/601C/2025 against the UBA and its three officials before an Osogbo magistrate Court.
No elected official can stay in office beyond his or tenure while seeking tenure elongation or determination and any such assertion is an affront on the constitution and a mockery of our democracy.

Governor Ademola Adeleke has restated his accusation against Blue Economy Minister, Gboyega Oyetola about the Minister’s masterminding Osun local government crisis, asserting again that the self-awarded tenure of APC Chairmen lapsed in 2025 and cannot be elongated under the law and Supreme Court precedents.
