The Executive Governor of Osun State, Senator Ademola Adeleke has felicitated with the Publisher of Ovation Magazine, Akinrogun Dele Momodu on the occasion of his birthday, describing him as “a pride of the media industry.”

Governor Adeleke notes Akinrogun Momodu’s heartwarming contributions to a just and equitable society, saying he has touched the minds and hearts of countless people with insightful words, logistic support and unwavering dedication to truth and justice.

The Governor appreciates the Ovation Magazine Publisher’s sustained commitment to informing and enlightening the public as a weapon of nation building, acknowledging him as an inspirational figure who has empowered readers to think critically and engage meaningfully.

“I congratulate my dear friend, Akinrogun Dele Momodu, on the auspicious occasion of his birthday. The Aare Tayese of Iwoland is a unique personality who has touched lives positively and brought smiles to countless faces,” the Governor was quoted in a congratulatory message.

“On this auspicious occasion, I honour both your wonderful life and exceptional contributions to the media sector and the larger society. I note, with admiration, Akinrogun Momodu’s deep sense of commitment to a better Nigeria, which is manifest in columns and public discourse.

I PRAY THE GOOD LORD GRANT HIS SOUL ETERNAL REST.

THE EVENT TODAY IS HISTORIC FOR MANY REASONS. THE FIRST IS THAT IT MARKS A FAMILY TRADITION AS MY LATE FATHER WAS THE BALOGUN OF EDELAND
WHILE MY LATE BROTHER WAS THE FORMER ASIWAJU OF EDELAND. HERE I AM TODAY BEING HONOURED WITH THAT SAME TITLE.

ON BEHALF OF MY FAMILY, I THANK KABIYESI, HIS ROYAL HIGHNESS, THE TIMI OF EDE LAND AND THE ENTIRE PEOPLE OF THIS ANCIENT TOWN FOR KEEPING FAITH WITH MY FAMILY.

KABIYESI, WE NOTE THAT THIS CONFERMENT IS A COMMENDATION FOR THE CONTRIBUTIONS OF MY FAMILY TO THE DEVELOPMENT OF THIS TOWN. IT IS EQUALLY A FURTHER CALL TO SERVICE.

ON A LIGHTER MOOD, I BELIEVE YOU ARE EAGER TO RECEIVE ME NOT JUST AS THE ASIWAJU OF EDELAND BUT AS THE ASIWAJU OF OSUN STATE.

DEAR FRIENDS AND ASSOCIATES, YOUR PRESENCE TODAY STRENGTHENS MY RESOLVE TO FURTHER DEVOTE MYSELF TO THE SERVICE OF THE PEOPLE.

YOU WILL CONTINUE TO FIND IN ME A TRUE PEOPLES’ SERVANT, A GOOD LISTENER AND AN AGENT OF GOOD GOVERNANCE.

The Executive Governor of Osun State, Senator Ademola Adeleke has congratulated the Ataoja of Osogbo, His Royal Majesty, Oba Jimoh Olanipekun Oyetunji, Laroye II, on the occasion of his birthday, joining family, friends and well-wishers across the globe to celebrate an exceptional leader, who exemplifies service to humanity.

Governor Adeleke praises Oba Olanipekun steadfast contributions to the peace and progress of Osun state and Nigeria, hailing him as a reference for selfless leadership.

The Governor recognises the frontline monarch’s unparallel commitment to the development of his domain, which is manifest in the support given to infrastructural plans of the government, celebrating him as a shinning example of devotion to service of the people.

“I heartily felicitate with the Ataoja of Osogbo, HRM Oba Jimoh Olanipekun Oyetunji, Laroye II, on this grace of a new age. On this occasion, I join people across race and tongue to honour the life of service that defines Oba Olanipekun,” the Governor was quoted to have said in the congratulatory message.

While saluting the Ataoja for his sustained efforts in entrenching peace and developments in his domain, Governor Adeleke added that “through Kabiyesi, we have come to appreciate the value of unwavering interest in the growth of subjects and town.”

Governor Adeleke prays for God’s sustained guidance and strength for Oba Olanipekun in furtherance of rendering qualitative service towards the peace and growth of not just Osogbo, but Osun State as a whole.

This is to inform the general public, that after a keenly-contested Logo Competition, which commenced from the 18th and terminated on the 26th of April, a final winner of the Osun State New Logo Competition has emerged.

Recall that the State Government named a panel of judges on the 26th of April, to review the entries and nominate the best top three, which was later increased to five, from over three hundred submissions.

The panel of Judges, which includes veteran broadcaster, Olusola Ajala, Chairman,brand specialist, Dayo Oderinu, Senior Bureaucrat, Moshood Suleiman Secretary, ICT and brand consultant Segun Yedupe, and ace graphic artist, Kazeem Olalekan, has now completed its job.

With the emergence of the final 5 top best Logos, His Excellency, Governor Ademola Adeleke will unveil the best Logo at the 2nd edition of IPADE IMOLE, at the palace of the Owa of Ijeshaland, today 30th April.

Mr Governor has also expressed his appreciation to the 5-man panel of Judges, which was saddled with the task of filtering out the best entries under 72 hours, in line with the parameters laid down for the contestants as well as the review process.
