The Osun state Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke has given an immediate approval for the relaxation of curfew imposed on the three warring communities of Ifon, Ilobu and Erin Osun, base on the positive security reports from the security Chiefs in the state on the security situations in the affected Communities.
Governor Ademola Adeleke remained undistracted by unsubstantiated statements on national television by some politicians particularly a failed governorship candidate as he is set to flag off the dualisation of Ila Orangun township road and the second phase dualization of Osogbo – Ikirun – Ila Odo Kwara State Boundary road.
Between December 2022 and the first quarter of 2025, Osun State, under the administration of Governor Ademola Adeleke recorded a significant decline in both domestic and external debts. The domestic debt dropped from ₦148.37 billion to ₦83.32 billion, while the external debt reduced from $91.78 million to $75.14 million. These figures reflect the administration’s deliberate fiscal actions to reduce the state’s debt burden and improve financial sustainability.
